Nominees for the Kalasha Awards

As I had mentioned earlier, we shall soon be celebrating the stars of Kenyan Film and Television. Hyped to be the Oscar's of Kenya, the Kalasha Awards are scheduled to be held on Saturday June the 29th, at the Canivore.

It's dissapointing though that there is no category for animation. Kenya Film commission, what happened to this? (comment by Alex Gakuru at 1.40pm)

I personally haven't watched half of the Films, but on the Television Categories me thinks most are well represented. Where can I get a copy of Mo & Me? Anyone? Read about the Doc in Adam Magazine May Issue.
Which reminds me, Mob Doc should have been in best comedy category, don't you think?

Oh My this is a wake up call for me to watch more local content. I'm so lost at most of the titles on your list!

I'd vote for Better days any time for Best TV Drama. Wherever did it go?

Churchill Live too goes without saying.

@Shiko-Msa Tahidi High (atleast recently) would do for me than Better Days. Interestingly the two of these had a common flaw. Better days had 'ghetto' scenes which couldn't be done by the obviously 'un-ghetto' actors and for Tahidi high, vice versa. They need to get real actors who can rep any hood!

Sorry to say I have never watched a single full episode of Tahidi High. Even Better Days I watched very few and was taken by the voice of Jackie Thome. And of course her acting, that other old guy and the rest of the crew. I watched Ciku in another Kajetan Boy film (I think it was Backlash)and she was good.

I need to work harder to support our stars surely! May the best win.
